A Calm, Local Medical Spa for Danbury, WI

Danbury sits at the far northern end of Burnett County, where Highway 35 meets Highway 77 and the St. Croix River marks the Minnesota line. When people up here want red light therapy, IV therapy, cryotherapy, acupuncture, lash extensions or permanent makeup without heading to Duluth or the Twin Cities, they come to The Wellness Place in Siren. It's roughly a 20-minute drive south on Highway 35 to our medical spa at 7711 Park Street West. Book online anytime or call (715) 566-4360.

Why Danbury residents make the drive to Siren

Life in Danbury is outdoors-heavy. People paddle and fish the St. Croix and the Yellow River, ride the Gandy Dancer Trail where it crosses the river on the long trestle into Minnesota, hunt in the fall, and spend the winter on snowmobiles and ice. It's a great way to live, and it's also hard on the body.

That's the main reason Danbury clients find us. They want a place to recover, recharge and take care of themselves that doesn't involve a two-hour round trip to a city. In about 20 minutes, you can be in a quiet, private room under red light, or settling into a comfortable chair for an IV drip, and be home well before supper.

The other reason is the feel of the place. The Wellness Place is a small medical spa, not a franchise. You'll be greeted by name after your first visit, and you'll never be rushed.

Recovery for an outdoor life

If you're the kind of person who comes home from a day on the water or in a tree stand feeling it in your back and shoulders, this pairing is for you.

Start with cryotherapy. A few minutes of cold helps cool and calm the body. Many people use it for soreness, swelling and stiffness, and most walk out feeling refreshed.

Follow with red light therapy. Warm up under the light and relax. Red and near-infrared light is absorbed by your cells and may help support the body's natural recovery.

Linda M., one of our clients, told us: "Cryotherapy immediately stopped my wrist and knee pain! Followed up with red light to further heal and relax!" Her experience is her own, and individual results vary, but it's a combination a lot of our active clients love.

Making the most of a trip into Siren

Since Danbury is a bit further out than Webster or Siren itself, many of our Danbury clients like to make each visit count:

Stack services

Cryo plus red light, or a wellness scan plus a THINNR consultation, fits easily into one trip.

Buy a package

Red light packages of 9, 12 or 24 sessions make it easy to schedule a whole month at once.

Run errands while you're here

Grab coffee in town, stop by the antique shops on Main Street or take a walk at Crooked Lake Park before heading home.

Ask about weekend appointments

Saturday and Sunday appointments are available by request, which helps if you work weekdays.

Winter at the top of the county

Danbury winters are long, and the north end of the county tends to feel them first. Short days, deep cold and a lot of time indoors can leave people feeling flat by February. Our Danbury clients lean on a few services to get through it:

Red light therapy

Twice a week, it becomes a warm, quiet ritual. Many clients tell us they sleep better and feel more energized with regular sessions.

IV therapy

During cold and flu season, for hydration and immune support when everyone around you seems to be sick.

Acupuncture

For stiff joints and stress when the weather keeps you cooped up.

The Age Reversal Package

Six weeks of red light and cryo facials, for skin that's taking a beating from wind and furnace heat.

If the roads are bad, call us. We'll happily move your appointment rather than have you drive in on a whiteout day.

What IV therapy looks like for a first-timer

IV therapy is one of the services Danbury clients ask about most, so here's a quick picture. You'll answer a few health questions first to make sure a drip is a good fit. Then you choose a drip with our help, settle into a comfortable chair, and feel a quick poke as the IV is placed. After that, you read, scroll or rest while the drip runs, usually less than an hour. There's no downtime afterward. Eat something beforehand, and wear a top with sleeves that roll up easily.

First visit, start to finish

Your first appointment starts with a short conversation about how you're feeling and what you're hoping to get out of your visit. We'll explain the service, answer every question, and make sure it's a good fit for you. If something isn't right for your situation, we'll tell you.

New to all of this? The red light intro session is $59 right now (regularly $79). It's the easiest, most relaxing way to see what we're about.

How long is the drive from Danbury to The Wellness Place?

About 20 minutes south on Highway 35 to our medical spa at 7711 Park Street West in Siren.

Which services are best for recovery after hunting, fishing or snowmobiling?

Cryotherapy and red light therapy, either on their own or back to back. IV therapy is also popular for hydration after long, demanding days.

Can I schedule several services in one trip?

Yes. Let us know when you book and we'll line them up so you can be in and out efficiently.

Do you have weekend hours?

Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend appointments are available by request.

Is permanent makeup a good idea if I'm outdoors a lot?

Many active clients love it because it doesn't sweat or wash off. During the first week or two of healing, you'll need to avoid swimming, heavy sweating and direct sun, so plan your appointment around your outdoor schedule.

How do I book?

Use the Book Now button on our website or call (715) 566-4360.
